Narrative as Medicine: Reclaiming Self & Story

Six Wednesdays, January 13–February 17, 2027
6:30–8:30 p.m. Eastern | Live on Zoom

This generative writing workshop invites participants to explore personal, ancestral, and communal narratives as forms of healing and reclamation. Through guided writing, literature across genres, and mindful dialogue, we will consider inherited stories, intergenerational dynamics, narrative identity, and what may have been lost, silenced, or left unresolved. Participants will work with personal, imagined, and reimagined material in a supportive but challenging space designed to foster curiosity, empathy, self-knowledge, and literary discovery.

Writing Through Grief and Change: A Workshop for Women

Six Fridays, February 5–March 12, 2027
6:30–8:30 p.m. Eastern | Live on Zoom

This generative workshop offers women a thoughtful space in which to write about grief, transition, and the many forms of change that reshape our lives. We will consider not only bereavement, but also illness, caregiving, estrangement, aging, altered relationships, interrupted futures, and changes in identity. Through guided writing, readings across genres, and compassionate conversation, participants will explore ways of giving language and form to difficult experience without forcing resolution or disclosure. This is a literary and educational workshop, not therapy, and participants always choose what they wish to write and share.

Writing the Relational Self: Emotional Literacy, Boundaries & Connection

W

ednesday, April 14, 2027
6:30–8:30 p.m. Eastern | Live on Zoom

This two-hour generative workshop uses writing, reflection, and mindful dialogue to deepen emotional literacy and strengthen our relationships with ourselves and others. Participants will explore how emotions shape attention, behavior, and connection; how to distinguish emotions from the stories we attach to them; and how difficult feelings can offer important information without becoming instructions. We will consider emotional contagion and emotional hygiene, empathy without absorption, boundaries without disconnection, and the roles of self-regulation and co-regulation. The goal is not permanent positivity or emotional control, but greater buoyancy, compassion, stability, and choice.
